About Us:
On Broadway Auto Care Inc., is a trusted and growing auto repair facility committed to high-quality repairs, excellent customer service, and professional growth. We are currently seeking a skilled technician who specializes in engine diagnostics and repairs, including timing chain/belt replacements and complete engine swaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and perform complex engine repairs including timing chain/belt replacement, cylinder head repairs, engine resealing, and complete engine replacements
- Accurately troubleshoot and repair engine-related codes and drivability issues
- Perform engine tear-downs and rebuilds when necessary
- Utilize scan tools, service manuals, and diagnostic equipment to evaluate engine performance and repair needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Document all work performed clearly and accurately on repair orders
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding progress and recommendations
- Stay current with industry best practices and training
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in engine and timing repairs
- Strong understanding of internal engine components and diagnostic procedures
- Experience using scan tools, torque specs, and OEM repair procedures
- Must have own tools and valid driver’s license
- ASE certifications preferred but not needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
