Job Description

Careerscape is recruiting for a popular Bend brewery that needs a talented Brewmaster to lead beer production and develop new recipes. You'll oversee the brewing process, maintain quality standards, and create beers that customers love.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new beer recipes and refine existing ones
  • Oversee all brewing operations and production schedules
  • Manage raw material inventory and ingredient ordering
  • Ensure quality control throughout brewing process
  • Maintain brewing equipment and coordinate maintenance
  • Train and supervise brewing staff
  • Monitor fermentation and make adjustments as needed
  • Ensure sanitation standards are met
  • Collaborate on seasonal and special release beers

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional brewing experience
  • Degree in Brewing Science or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of brewing science and techniques
  • Experience scaling recipes for production
  • Understanding of quality control and laboratory testing
  • Leadership and team management abilities
  • Passion for craft beer and brewing innovation
  • Physical ability to lift kegs and work in brewery environment
  • Flexible schedule including some weekends
