The Prothonotary Office of Washington County PA is seeking to hire a FT Clerk Typist II. This job requires utilizing multiple computer programs including clerical work at a high-performance level; work involves the performance of skilled computer tasks and E Filing.
Processing of fees associated with court document filings requires a high level of attention to detail, recall, and analyzation skills.
Two years of college or Technical School is preferred. A high school diploma or GED in combination with acceptable continuing education and experience may be considered by the Prothonotary. Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to learn new skills and software is a must.
The Prothonotary's office is a high-volume office that works with the Judges, lawyers, and the public. Legal document processing background, excellent customer service, and cash/check/credit card handling experience is strongly preferred.
