Responsibilities:

• Conduct forensic analysis of digital information while gathering and managing evidence.
• Detect network computer intrusion indicators and identify the perpetrators.
• Oversee monitoring of network systems for security breaches and investigate any violations that arise.
• Establish secure system configuration baselines and keep track of any changes.
• Implement system hardening best practices for workstations and servers.
• Manage security systems, which may include Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, Vulnerability Scanners, IDP/IPS devices, and Enterprise System Management Technologies.
• Ensure servers and workstations are scanned for viruses and carry out removal procedures.
• Implement Operating System security updates and manage patches for all domain systems.

Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, with the possibility of shift work. To be a part of our team, you’ll need a BA/BS degree and at least 4 years of experience, along with a TS/SCI clearance. You are also required to possess one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (like CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, or SSCP) and one CSSP-Analyst certification (such as CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA Security, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, Cloud+, SCYBER, or PenTest+).

This position has a salary range of $62,075 - $83,983, influenced by experience and location. Scheduled weekly hours are 40, with travel requirements being less than 10%. This is an onsite role based at Lackland AFB in Texas.
