Location: Dearborn, MI
Hours: Monday–Wednesday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with clinic policies.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Utilize Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping. (We may switch to Open Dental soon)
Skills
- We prefer experienced assistants.
- Proficiency in medical/ dental documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures relevant to dental practices.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures, enhancing communication with the dental team.
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively, assisting the dentist efficiently during procedures.
- Competence in taking X-rays while following safety guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
