Position: Emergency Department Physician

Location: Chino Valley Medical Center – Chino, California

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem

Position Summary:

Chino Valley Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and experienced  Emergency Department Physician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• 12 clinical shifts a month, Mix of Days and Nights
• Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• 1099 Independent Contractor.
• Start date August 1st, 2025
• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and hospital staff.
• Maintain timely and accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards of care

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM preferred).
• Current California medical license (or eligibility).
• Active DEA certification.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $240 days/ $260 nights. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
