Laundry Attendant
The Laundry Attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, sorting, pressing, and folding and other textile articles. To be successful as a Laundry Attendant, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Full-time Laundry Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM**Shifts may vary based on resort occupancy; weekends and holidays are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
- Tracking which items belong to whom.
- Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
Laundry Attendant Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferable but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds unaided.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Available to work holidays and on weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
