Job Title: Perforator Operator

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st/2nd (open to work every Saturday) plus overtime

Benefits : Medical, Dental, AD&D

Position Summary

The Perforator Operator is responsible for assisting in the movement, handling, and processing of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) materials using material handling equipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, off-loading, and movement of OCTG materials.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with supervisors and co-workers.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety laws, policies, and procedures.
• Carry out physical tasks such as pipe rolling, stacking, and rack building.
• Handle material assignments according to specified requirements.
• Operate equipment such as a Band Saw or Chop Saw to build chalks for racks.
• Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Handling Yard Supervisor or Lead.

Skill & Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good housekeeping skills with attention to maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out tasks based on written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks in a warehouse/yard setting.
