DESCRIPTION
The Brand Design Team within XCM (Cross-Channel Marketing) is seeking a passionate, customer-obsessed, and experienced Senior Designer who demonstrates a strong understanding of design systems and how to apply strategic design thinking across multiple marketing channels including digital, print, and out of home channels. The ideal candidate is a design thinker, motivated to develop the best solution for every challenge, regardless of scope, length or budget. They work quickly and readily dive deep to understand the objectives of their business partners and stakeholders. They have experience executing complex brand campaigns, seasonal campaigns, and brand/identity systems. They highly value collaboration and are able to evaluate the impact of a designing for global brand.
The ideal candidate is committed to developing bar-raising creative across a variety of applications. They have experience collaborating with teams of designers, illustrators, copywriters and business partners to deliver results. They are a problem solver who are always ready to participate in a hands-on manner and are motivated to deliver exceptional brand systems, experiences, and campaigns to be seen by millions of customers world-wide.
Key job responsibilities
Basic qualifications
• 6+ years of design industry experience with an agency or in-house
• Portfolio demonstrating systematic brand and identity design scaling across multiple touch points
• Strong grasp of the creative process; from ideation through implementation
• Strong understanding of typography, design principles, and color
• Familiarity with brand strategy and working from briefs
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience presenting work to senior creative leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with working with a global brand or design agency
• Has strong bias for action in a fast-paced, metric driven environment.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on creative projects
• Self-motivated team player
• Exceptional communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
• Able to combine fresh ideas with a high attention to detail
• Experience developing for owned and operated channels that have global scale
• Experience creating brand guidelines
About the team
The Brand Design team within XCM guides brand coherence globally. We are the team responsible for setting the standard for visual brand expression through design mechanisms that support consistency and better brand standards across the company. We are also the team responsible for creating campaigns and style guides in support of seasonal retail events as well as physical owned & operated marketing. We collaborate regularly with cross-channel creatives and business stakeholders to deliver bar-raising design solutions for the customer.
