Job Description

As a Senior   Software Engineer at Warbler Labs, you will be responsible — along with our world-class engineering team — for building impenetrable smart contracts and delightful web products for our customers to use. We ruthlessly cut scope and follow an agile methodology. We work to create a high trust, empathetic team environment with high standards of excellence and integrity.

This role is full time, preferably located in the Bay Area. Open to remote for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Lead the design and architecture of innovative financial technology and decentralized finance projects on blockchain

• Take ownership of the software development life cycle, ensuring the reliability, performance, and maintainability of the codebase for applications

• Implement robust security measures and best practices to safeguard financial transactions and user data in compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers, guiding them in the development of complex solutions and mentor team members on coding standards, software architecture, and best practice

• Conduct regular security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of financial and user information

• Conduct regular code reviews, implement best practices, and apply optimization techniques to enhance the overall efficiency and security of the systems. 

Who You'll Be Working With:

• Current team is a mix of tech and finance veterans, with deep crypto and emerging market lending experience from some of the best companies in the world, including Coinbase, Airbnb, Morgan Stanley, Yelp, Goldman Sachs, Branch, Medium, Stratos, and Twilio.

• We're an entrepreneurial bunch. A large percentage of the team has started their own company in the past.

Position requires:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupations.

• Must possess at least 1 year of experience in all of the following: Backend and frontend programming languages; Typescript programming language; Experience with technical Incident responsiveness; Visual Studio Code tooling; GitHub database; and Python programming language.

$170,000 - $205,000 a year
