Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Sign Installer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. If you are mechanically inclined, like working outdoors can drive lift trucks and work at varying heights this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a sign installer, you will be working on storefronts, in schools and universities and for corporate clients.

Don’t have sign experience? No problem, we will train individuals that are mechanically inclined, or have training in electrical work, carpentry, or general construction.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain various types of signs, including channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, ADA compliant signage and graphics
  • Previous Sign industry experience is a plus - but not required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and effectively during installation on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess installation locations and requirements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in sign installation is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring is preferred.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • CDL is a bonus – preferred, but not required.

* Must be able to pass a drug screen, and have a valid drivers' license, as well as reliable transportation.

Typical working hours are Monday - Friday from 7 AM - 4 PM, however there are opportunities and needs for later hours and occasionally some weekend work - overtime is available.
