Job Summary: Closet Factory is seeking a skilled Factory Team Member to join our growing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Factory Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and assembly of custom closets and home organization systems. This is a full-time, hourly position, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical skills and contribute to the success of our company. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $17-$22 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, eligible employees will also receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the manufacturing of custom closets and home organization systems according to design specifications.
  • Operate various tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble cabinets, drawers, shelves, and other components.
  • Assist in cutting, sanding, and finishing materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Maintain strict quality control on all of your work
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or materials as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding project progress and any potential delays.
  • Ability to work overtime (some Saturday’s) as demand requires.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have experience using a table saw.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret design plans.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in custom cabinetry or woodworking is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
